Nettle Tea Recipe
In this nettle tea recipe we use the method of infusion. If you are new to herbal infusions, the process is incredibly simple. It involves pouring hot water over an herb or herbs and allowing it to steep for an extended period of time. It’s much the same as making herbal tea just with a longer steeping process that requires a bit of waiting before getting to enjoy the nutrient-rich beverage.

- 4 cups filtered water
Instructions

- Boil 4 cups of water then pour the boiling water into the jar over the nettle leaves, leaving 1 inch of head space at the top of the jar.

- Pour the infusion through the cheesecloth and colander into the bowl below to strain the tea from the leaves.
- Collect the corners of the cheesecloth together to capture the nettle leaves and squeeze out the excess liquid from the leaves into your bowl.
